ISLAND idol has panaroma white sand beaches and volcanic rock that is very beautiful with a great location close to the National Park buffer zone Berbak. Islands covering an area approximately 10 square kilometers at the western part has a sloping beach and in the East have rock cliffs are quite steep. In case of low tide the island is surrounded by idols can walk in 6 hours.




The island is populated by 9 chief families originating from the Riau Malay livelihood as fishermen. The whole hill has a height of about 2,000 meters. there is at the center of the island and here found two historical and cultural relics, including the Tomb of Datuk Paduko Berhalo.


Walk down the hill through the path + 150 meters we will find the grave of a developer of Islam in jambi, named Datuk Ahmad Salim Yang dubbed Paduko Berhalo. He menukah the Edinburgh Royal Princess, Princess Pinang conformable both Cook who later ruled the kingdom of Jambi.
