Samosir Island is a volcanic island in the middle of Lake Toba in North Sumatra province. An island in the island with an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level makes this island into an island that attract tourists.

Tuktuk is the concentration of tourist centers on the island of Samosir. From Parapat, Tuktuk can be connected with the ferry crossing. In addition to water transportation, Samosir Island can also be reached by road via Pangururan the place where Samosir Island and the island of Sumatra in touch.

A. Overview 
Hombo (skip) stone is a very popular tradition in the people of Nias in South Nias district. This tradition is carried out by people in the village of Bawo Mataluo (Mount of the Sun). Mataluo Bawo Village is the village which is rich in megalithic sites (large stone) carved and in it there is a traditional residential Nias (Omo hada).

Lake Toba is one of the largest lake in the world, and the largest and most popular in Indonesia. Lake Toba was like a vast ocean approximately 100 km x 30 km. In the middle of the lake, there is a large island, Samosir Island is located at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level.
